The November 10 car bombing near the Red Fort, resulting in 15 fatalities, has triggered a wide-ranging investigation that now includes Al Falah University in Faridabad. Over 200 medical professionals and university staff are being examined for possible connections to the terrorists responsible. The presence of multiple investigative agencies on campus, including the National Investigation Agency, Delhi Police Special Cell, UP ATS, Faridabad Crime Branch, and J&K Police, has created an atmosphere of unease. The Enforcement Directorate has also joined the operation, establishing a temporary command center within the university. Investigators are particularly interested in the activities of a suicide bomber, Dr. Umar Un Nabi, who reportedly rented a room in Nuh from a woman now detained. Evidence suggests he may have received internal support during his time at the university, with reports of unusual absences and special treatment, including preferential duty assignments at the university hospital. The decline in patient numbers at the university hospital further indicates the impact of these allegations on the institution’s reputation.
