He attributed Dhankhar’s resignation solely to health reasons, cautioning against any attempts to find hidden meanings. The statement was made in an interview with ANI. The upcoming Vice Presidential election is slated for September 9th, with CP Radhakrishnan representing the NDA and former Supreme Court Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy nominated by the opposition. Dhankhar’s resignation last month, attributed to health concerns, initiated public debate and speculation regarding the circumstances surrounding his decision.
