Amit Shah Launches Temple Project, Attacks Rahul Gandhi and Discusses Election Issues in Bihar

During a visit to Sitamarhi, Bihar, Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the comprehensive development of the Punauradham temple and its surrounding complex, the birthplace of Sita. He inaugurated the Sitamarhi-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express and presented the design for the Janaki Temple. Shah accused Rahul Gandhi of prioritizing vote-bank politics and preemptively explaining the reasons for potential electoral losses in the upcoming Bihar elections. Furthermore, he criticized the Congress and RJD regarding the SIR process, stating that those who have illegally entered the country would not be allowed to vote. He underscored the importance of the Punauradham temple, viewing it as a symbol of revitalization for both Bihar and the Mithilanchal region, with the intention of restoring its status as a center for education. He acknowledged the Modi government’s contributions towards honoring Mithila’s heritage. Elaborating on cultural aspects, Shah noted that the culture of Mithilanchal represents a significant part of Indian culture. The construction of the Maa Janaki temple will require 890 crore rupees, with 137 crore allocated specifically for the temple’s renovation. He emphasized the respect for the feminine power inherent in Indian culture and mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s work on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the redevelopment of various religious sites.
