Increased wind activity is forecast for the Andaman Sea, with speeds expected to reach 35 to 45 kmph, potentially gusting up to 55 kmph. Consequently, fishermen are strongly advised against venturing into the sea due to the likelihood of rough conditions. Similar squally winds are also predicted for the Gujarat and north Konkan coasts, as well as adjoining areas of the east-central and northeast Arabian Sea. Chennai is expected to experience partly cloudy skies with temperatures around 35°C maximum and 26°C minimum.
