Araria, Bihar: Father and Son Targeted in Overnight Shooting

A tragic event unfolded in Araria, Bihar, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy and severe injuries to his father. The shooting occurred in the Mahalgonj area around 12:30 am on July 6. The attackers reportedly entered the victims’ home and opened fire. The young boy was shot in the head, leading to his immediate death, while his father sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. Local authorities responded to the scene, and the injured father was initially taken to Araria Sadar Hospital before being transferred to a private hospital in Purnia for advanced medical care.
