Atishi drew attention to the waterlogging on roads and water scarcity during the monsoon. She stated that it is shocking that Delhi is facing water shortages despite the unprecedented monsoon. Despite heavy rainfall, Delhi residents are struggling for water daily. One side of Delhi is submerged in water, and on the other, the taps in the national capital have dried up. Atishi questioned the preparedness and efficiency of the BJP government and the Delhi Jal Board. She stated that this situation raises serious questions about the BJP-led government and the Delhi Jal Board’s readiness and efficiency. If this is the condition even during the rainy season, what will happen in the coming summers? She noted that the government has been in charge of the Delhi Jal Board for about six months and can no longer make excuses or blame others.
