Authorities in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, have apprehended two individuals in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 21-year-old deaf and mute woman. The incident took place on Monday. According to police reports, the victim was on her way home from her maternal uncle’s house when she was abducted by a man on a motorcycle. She was subsequently taken to a remote area where the assault occurred. The victim’s family initiated a search after she failed to return home, discovering her unconscious in a secluded area. Upon regaining consciousness, she provided details of the attack. Video evidence, captured by a CCTV camera, reportedly shows a woman being chased by individuals on motorbikes. Following the incident, a brief gunfight ensued, resulting in the arrest of Ankur Pandey and Harshit Pandey.
