CBganj police in Bareilly engaged in an encounter with two suspects, Idris and Iqbal, connected to the recent violence. The individuals were shot in the leg and arrested. The suspects are accused of inciting violence and firing upon officers. The incident stems from the riots that occurred after Friday prayers. Police seized weapons, including a stolen government-issued anti-riot gun. Idris and Iqbal were found near the Bandia Canal Highway culvert after police received a tip. Idris, with a history of about 20 cases, and Iqbal, with 17, admitted they planned to sell the recovered rifle, but were caught before they could.
