Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of Punjab has been admitted to Fortis Hospital due to deteriorating health. He had been experiencing health issues for a couple of days and was initially instructed to rest at home. On Friday, after his condition worsened, medical professionals advised immediate hospitalization. Arvind Kejriwal, the former Delhi CM and AAP convenor, visited Mann’s residence to check on his well-being. Sukhpal Singh Khaira, a Congress MLA, raised concerns regarding the decision to admit Mann to Fortis Hospital instead of the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, which the AAP has presented as a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. Concurrently, with Punjab facing major flood damage, Mann had announced the deployment of a gazetted officer to each village to enhance communication and support flood-affected communities.
