Patna hosted the National Conference on Holistic Development of Districts, organized by the DARPG, Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission Society, and the General Administration Department. The conference saw participation from over 200 delegates representing various government bodies across India. The event focused on sharing best practices and innovative approaches to governance at the district level. Technical sessions presented successful initiatives, including those recognized by the Prime Minister’s Award. Discussions underscored the district’s crucial role in public service delivery and local development. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary were present at the inaugural session. Bihar’s progress in infrastructure and women’s empowerment was highlighted. The conference included an exhibition of Bihar’s flagship schemes and a cultural program.
