Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha affirmed that the NDA reflects the public’s preference and signifies the state’s development. He views the elections as a chance to remove those responsible for Bihar’s setbacks. Simultaneously, Chirag Paswan, the president of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), declared his party’s commitment to support the NDA in all constituencies. Paswan’s intention is to help the NDA achieve victory. This announcement has stirred debate concerning seat distribution within the NDA coalition. The LJP is seeking 40 seats, while other allies are also making demands. The BJP and JD(U) are reportedly aiming for 100 seats each. The upcoming assembly elections are expected to take place later this year, with the Election Commission yet to release the official schedule.
