The Election Commission also conducted a briefing session in New Delhi for over 400 officers who will serve as central observers for the Bihar elections and other by-elections nationwide. These officers are considered the eyes and ears of the Election Commission on the ground.
During a meeting, general, police, and expenditure observers, appointed by the Election Commission for the Bihar elections, were instructed to be fully informed about election laws, regulations, and guidelines and to ensure their rigorous and impartial application.
