Bihar Gears Up for Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ Starting August 17th

Rahul Gandhi, a prominent figure in the Congress party, is set to embark on a ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar on August 17th. The yatra is a direct response to the ongoing concerns about alleged vote manipulation and is aimed at challenging the central government and the Election Commission. The yatra will start from the Rohtas district and span across 24 districts over 16 days. The objective is to raise awareness regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar. The yatra will culminate in a major rally in Patna on September 1st. Senior leaders from the India coalition are expected to participate in the yatra. The yatra will start from Sasaram and will potentially include Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in Bihar, along with other alliance partners. The yatra is not only aimed at highlighting irregularities in voter lists, but also at showcasing the unity of the opposition ‘India’ bloc.
