Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a visit to Bihar, where he initiated several developmental projects, including the flagging off of four Amrit Bharat trains. The total value of these projects exceeds ₹7,200 crore. The new train routes will connect various cities, enhancing connectivity within and outside the state. The Prime Minister also participated in the Griha Pravesh ceremony, handing over keys to beneficiaries. Moreover, funds were released under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin and the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission, supporting thousands of beneficiaries and Self-Help Groups. The rail projects include improvements in signaling, doubling of tracks, and infrastructure upgrades for Vande Bharat trains, further enhancing the state’s railway network.
