Key actions: Bhagalpur filed FIRs against 10 sites, netting 19 lakh. Darbhanga seized assets; Muzaffarpur erased 55 hoardings. Begusarai handled seven takedowns and 71 warnings.
Patna’s tally: 200 interventions, 250 notices issued. Top zones include Pataliputra’s 59 removals and Kankarbagh’s 89 notices. A zone-wide special operation employs scientific assessments for safe, effective clearances prioritizing visual appeal, mobility, and security.
Patna Corporation, acting on Sinha’s orders, issued recovery notices to 54 ad firms owing 107.12 crore. The crackdown heralds a new era of advertising governance, ensuring revenues fund development while ridding streets of eyesores.
