Ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has announced 25 candidates who will vie for seats across the state. The party leadership confirmed the list, emphasizing their commitment to being the voice of the oppressed in Bihar. Prominent names on the roster include Mohammed Kaif (Siwan), Anas Salam (Gopalganj AC), Advocate Shams Aagaz (Kishanganj), Rashid Khalil Ansari (Madhubani), and Mohammad Manzoor Alam (Araria). The AIMIM stated that this list was prepared after extensive consultation within the Bihar unit and with national leadership. Bihar’s 243-member assembly will go to polls on November 6 and November 11, with results announced on November 14. This election sees the NDA facing off against the Mahagathbandhan coalition, which comprises RJD, Congress, and other allied parties. Political strategist Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj is also actively participating in the electoral process.
