Agricultural University Sabour Earns NAAC A Grade, Elevating Bihar’s Education Profile

Vijay Kumar Sinha, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister, celebrated the Agricultural University, Sabour, receiving an A grade from NAAC. This accolade not only benefits the university but also represents a major achievement for Bihar, confirming its status as a leading state in higher education, research, and innovation. The achievement stems from the university’s determination, diligent work, and collaborative endeavors, involving teachers, scientists, employees, students, and farmers. The NAAC peer team assessed the university across all domains—academics, administration, infrastructure, research, and outreach—between May 28th and 30th. The university’s 3.08 CGPA earned in just 15 years underscores its strong national presence. This milestone highlights the institution’s commitment to educational excellence, inclusive growth, research advancements, and administrative best practices. The grading aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reflecting the university’s strategic approach and implementation.
