Four people have died in a drowning incident in the Budhi Gandak River in Begusarai, Bihar. The victims included two pairs of brothers. Upon receiving the news, the police immediately reached the location. The authorities took possession of the four bodies and sent them for a post-mortem examination, subsequently launching an investigation. The incident occurred in the Nurullahpur area of the Khodawandpur police station. According to reports, the victims, ranging from 12 to 19 years of age, underestimated the depth of the water and were caught in the tragedy while trying to save each other. Local people managed to rescue four other individuals.
