To improve rural infrastructure and connectivity, the Bihar government is undertaking a significant project. The Mukhyamantri Gramin Setu Yojana, a key initiative of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has sanctioned the construction of 703 new bridges throughout Bihar during the 2025-26 fiscal year. Construction work commenced on September 15th. The project, budgeted at 3,688 crore rupees, is designed to provide thousands of villages with reliable road access, enhancing convenience for residents and improving overall infrastructure.
