The India coalition, led by Tejashwi Yadav, is nearing a consensus on seat distribution for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. Following four rounds of discussions, the allocation of seats is underway. The Congress and RJD are set to concede some seats to accommodate Mukesh Sahani’s VIP party and Pashupati Paras’s faction. As a result, the Congress and RJD will contest fewer seats than in the previous election, while the CPI(M-L) is expected to contest on more seats.
