Alok Mehta, the RJD MLA representing the Ujiarpur assembly constituency in Bihar, faced strong criticism from villagers during a recent visit. The incident took place in the Raipur Panchayat’s Mahadalit Tola area of Samastipur. A resident voiced his discontent, accusing Mehta of failing to address local issues over the past five years. The individual directly confronted the MLA, using harsh language and highlighting the perceived lack of progress. Mehta, visibly uncomfortable, attempted to stop people from filming the exchange, but to no avail. The video of the confrontation quickly circulated on social media, drawing sharp comments. Mehta, a prominent RJD leader and former minister, was compelled to depart the scene due to the villagers’ outrage.
