Bihar is enhancing security protocols in preparation for upcoming festivals. Measures are being taken with Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (September 5), Anant Chaturdashi (September 6), and Vishwakarma Puja (September 17) in mind. Licenses from local administrations are mandatory for all processions. There will be a complete ban on DJs during any procession. Additional security personnel have been dispatched to all districts. Before any immersion or procession, peace committee meetings must be held. Procession routes must be established and physically checked. Extra security will be stationed in sensitive locations. Mandatory videography of all processions will be conducted, and divers will be posted at the designated ghats. Control rooms in the districts and the police headquarters will be working 24/7. Updates will be gathered from all districts every 4 hours. Monitoring of any rumors and social media activity will be continuous. Preemptive measures are being taken against numerous suspects.
