Bihar Woman Seeks Justice After Chicken ‘Murder’

A bizarre case has emerged from Siwan, Bihar, where a woman, Rinky Devi, reported the ‘murder’ of her chicken to the police. She arrived at the police station with the deceased bird, accusing her brother-in-law and sister-in-law of the crime. According to Rinky, she was very fond of the chicken, treating it as her own child. She alleged that the chicken was killed by her relatives, with the motive being a disagreement over eggs. The police, after initially asking her to bury the chicken, have now registered a case and are investigating the accusations against the family members.
