Bihar is establishing a new narrative of empowerment for its female population through the ‘Mahila Samvad’ program. The state government is providing women with a platform to voice their opinions in a changing society. Initiated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with a meeting, the program commenced across the state on April 18, 2025. The initiative spanned about a month, with dialogues held at the panchayat, district, and state levels, encompassing over 70,000 locations across the state. The program received over one lakh suggestions across 40 departments.
