Car Accident in Purnia Claims Priest’s Life, Injures Women at Puja Pandal

On Tuesday evening, residents of Bairia village were preparing for idol immersion when a driver lost control of his Scorpio. The vehicle careened into the puja pandal, hitting the priest, Bhagwat Mandal, and four women. The car entered from one side of the pandal and exited through the other before overturning in a nearby field. The priest was pronounced dead at the scene. The injured women were rushed to the hospital.
