Union Minister Chirag Paswan has declared his decision to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections from all 243 seats. Speaking at a public meeting, he stated his objective is to strengthen the NDA alliance and ensure its success. Paswan clarified that he is contesting the elections ‘for Bihar’ and will leave the decision of which constituency to the public. He also targeted the RJD and Congress, accusing them of being equally responsible for the past governance issues. Furthermore, Paswan responded to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks regarding the Election Commission, implying that these comments signal a pre-emptive concession of defeat in the upcoming elections.
