In a significant announcement, Chirag Paswan revealed his plan to contest all 243 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Speaking at a public meeting, Paswan highlighted his goal of bolstering the NDA alliance through his participation. He framed his decision as one made ‘for Bihar,’ leaving it to the people to determine his candidacy and the specific constituency. Furthermore, Paswan targeted the RJD and Congress, accusing them of being equally responsible for the past ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar. He also reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s comments regarding the election commission, interpreting it as a sign of Congress’s anticipated loss. Paswan had previously stated that he is not eyeing the Chief Minister’s chair.
