An accident involving the convoy of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav occurred early Saturday morning in Vaishali, Bihar. While returning from a rally, two vehicles in the convoy were struck by a truck near Goraul. The incident happened around 12:30 AM on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway during a tea break. Yadav, who was away from the vehicles at the time, was not injured. However, three security officials sustained injuries and were promptly taken for medical treatment. The truck driver was arrested on the spot, and the vehicle was impounded. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway. The incident has sparked discussion regarding the safety of political figures and the enforcement of road safety measures in Bihar. Yadav has since confirmed his safety and expressed his concern for the injured security personnel.
