A convoy carrying Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was involved in a car accident in Vaishali district, Bihar. The incident took place on Saturday morning when a truck collided with two vehicles in the convoy near Goraul. Yadav, who was en route back to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura, was fortunately not in the affected vehicles at the time of the crash. The convoy had stopped for a tea break on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway when the accident occurred. Three security personnel sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was arrested, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident. The accident has prompted discussions about road safety and the security of political figures traveling in Bihar, especially late at night. Calls for improved security protocols and enhanced road safety measures have been made by party officials.
