Doctor in Muzaffarpur Takes Own Life After PG Exam Disappointment

A doctor in the Madipur Jaitpur Colony of Kazi Mohammadpur police station area of Muzaffarpur ended his life by shooting himself with a gun. The firearm belonged to his father. The doctor, identified as Ashutosh Chandra, shot himself in the head with his father’s licensed double-barreled gun. The incident caused immediate alarm in the neighborhood. Police and the FSL team arrived at the scene and began investigating the matter. The doctor’s father, Avinash Chandra, is originally from Harishankar Maniaari and currently resides in Madipur Jaitpur Colony. He also owns petrol pumps in Kanti and Dighra. The doctor’s suicide is believed to be connected to his failure in the PG exam about a week prior.
