Five young girls were bathing in the old Kamala canal in Rahika, Madhubani, when they suddenly began to drown. The girls cried out for help, prompting nearby individuals to rescue two of them. Unfortunately, the other three were found in critical condition and were rushed to the Rahika Primary Health Center, where they were pronounced dead. The deceased were identified as Rani Parveen, Aasteen Parveen, and Nadiya Khatoon, all residents of Badi Masjid Tola in Rahika.
