A minor dancer was lured from Kolkata to Patna under the guise of a dance program during the Durga Puja festival. She was accommodated in the Beur police station area’s Cooperative Colony, Vishnupur Pakdi. There, six individuals allegedly took turns assaulting the minor. Local residents informed the police on October 4th, reporting the gang rape of girls at a specific residence. Acting promptly, the police rescued three dancers and apprehended seven accused, including a woman, within three hours. The investigation revealed that the accused had contacted a person in Kolkata to procure dancers for the Durga Puja event. Subsequently, they committed the act of gang rape on the minor dancer.
