Grief-Stricken Macaque Exacts Revenge, Attacks Village Residents After Infant’s Death

A macaque in Bhagalpur, Bihar, is on a rampage, attacking villagers after its baby was killed in a road accident. The tractor driver, Aman Kumar Yadav, was fatally injured in an attack by the monkey. According to villagers, the macaque has become extremely aggressive since the death of its young, randomly attacking passersby. Twenty days prior to his death, the deceased had just gotten married.
