In Munger, a bride who had been married for only four months ended her life by suicide. The husband was involved in an affair with his own aunt, a relationship the wife strongly opposed. Despite her objections, the husband did not cease the affair, which ultimately resulted in the wife’s tragic decision. The family of the deceased has accused the husband and his family of causing distress and filed a police report. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, and the police are conducting an investigation. The victim, Mausam, was married to Ajay Tanti, a resident of Launa village, on May 5th. The family alleges that Ajay had illicit relations with his aunt, who is also a mother of four. Mausam’s family further claimed that the husband physically abused her and demanded dowry even after receiving a substantial amount in cash and gifts at the wedding.
