Man Accuses Wife of Abandonment and Infidelity After Funding Her Education

A man from Vaishali, Bihar, has reported his wife to the police, accusing her of deserting him and their daughter after she secured a government job. The husband claims he sacrificed his mother’s jewelry to educate his wife, Pooja Kumari. He now alleges that she has left him for another man and is involved in an extramarital affair. The husband, Pankaj Kumar Sah, stated that he and Pooja Kumari married on February 10, 2020. He claims he sold his mother’s jewelry to educate his wife and secure her a job in the Fire Brigade Department. During Pooja’s training, she allegedly began an affair with Rahul, a fellow fireman. Pooja was posted in Supaul district on May 7, 2023. Their daughter, now four and a half, was born on March 7, 2021. Pankaj alleges that when he confronted his wife about her illicit relationships, she forced him and their daughter to leave their home. He further claims that when he confronted his in-laws with evidence of his wife’s affair, they threatened him. He has filed a complaint with the police, seeking an FIR and justice.
