Police have apprehended a man named Mohammad Rizvi, also known as Raja, in connection with the use of abusive language targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother during a Congress rally led by Rahul Gandhi. The incident took place on August 27th in Darbhanga, Bihar. Rizvi is a driver by profession and also owns a tire repair shop, as confirmed by Surendra Kumar Suman, SDPO-2 of Darbhanga Sadar. This arrest is the first in the case, which stems from an FIR filed by BJP district president Aditya Narayan Manna, naming Congress leader Mohammad Naushad as the primary suspect. The accused was presented to the media by the police, and investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the abusive comments and to identify any other individuals involved. The video of the incident went viral on social media. The BJP has condemned the actions, while the rally organizer, Naushad, has offered an apology to PM Modi.
