The accused, who presented himself as an ADG, was arrested based on intelligence. He allegedly intimidated people, particularly in land dispute cases, to extort money. Police investigations revealed that Ahmed operated by contacting officials and using his false rank to exert influence. Over half a dozen individuals have been defrauded, including a government employee. Ahmed is now in police custody, and an investigation into his network and potential victims is underway. The police are conducting a thorough investigation of the entire case.
