NH-80 in Bhagalpur is increasingly known for its traffic problems, causing delays for commuters. BJP MLA Pawan Kumar Yadav was seen taking matters into his own hands, directing traffic on foot to ease the congestion between Kahalgaon and Ghogha. The incident, captured in a video, shows the MLA engaging with a citizen who asked if he was also stuck in the jam. Yadav explained that he was there to help manage the traffic. The MLA was traveling from Patna to Kahalgaon early in the morning and found that the local administration was working to clear the jam. In the video, the MLA is heard urging drivers to drive in a single line to prevent further blockages. He had previously faced a similar situation, getting stranded near Trimuhan on NH-80 and criticizing the NHAI and the contractor for the poor road conditions and lack of traffic management. The MLA had stated his dissatisfaction with the ongoing issues. On this occasion, he was on his way from Kahalgaon to attend an NDA workers’ conference in Bhagalpur when he encountered the severe traffic jam, forcing him to leave his vehicle and proceed on foot.
