Odisha’s Rath Yatra Turns Sorrowful as Two Die in Separate Mishaps

The joyous atmosphere of the Rath Yatra in Odisha was overshadowed by two tragic incidents. In Ganjam, a youth identified as Shibaram Behera died after being crushed by a chariot wheel during the procession. He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Another tragedy occurred in Bhadrak, where a minor boy, Soumyaranjan Raut, died when a DJ vehicle overturned. The events led to tension, and police were deployed to manage the situation.
