Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh, who was injured during Operation Sindoor, has been martyred. The Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, targeting terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. Singh was injured in drone attacks. He was under treatment at a command hospital since May 9 and succumbed to his injuries after about a month. The army remembered his courage and dedication. Sunil Kumar Singh was from Buxar, Bihar. His family includes his mother, a retired principal, his wife, and two sons. The objective of Operation Sindoor was to avenge Pakistan and eradicate terrorists. The Indian Army targeted nine terrorist hideouts in PoK, resulting in over 100 terrorists being killed. Pakistan responded with drone attacks, which were largely thwarted by the Indian defense system. India retaliated by targeting 11 of Pakistan’s 13 airbases, prompting Pakistan to seek a ceasefire.
