Pashupati Kumar Paras, the former Union Minister, has ended his association with the NDA. He declared his intention to participate in the Bihar assembly elections in alliance with the Grand Alliance. During a press conference, Paras criticized the current state of affairs in Bihar, highlighting issues of crime, corruption, and the perceived inaction of the Nitish Kumar government. He also criticized the Election Commission for its handling of the voter list revision and accused the NDA of already admitting defeat. He addressed concerns related to the Waqf Amendment Bill, inflation, unemployment, and the overall governance of the central government.
