The Patna Metro is undergoing a transformation, with a focus on aesthetics and cultural representation. The metro’s carriages will be distinguished by their saffron color. They will be decorated with imagery of Patna’s key attractions, including the Golghar. The blue and silver bogies acquired from Pune are currently being modified to reflect the new color scheme. The metro’s design will extend to the interior, with the roofs set to be decorated with Madhubani art and other elements of traditional Bihari art. The aim is to reflect Bihar’s rich culture and heritage. Furthermore, important tourist sites such as Golghar, Mahavir Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, Budhha Stupa and Nalanda ruins will be showcased on the bogies.
