A prominent RJD leader, Rajkumar Rai, was murdered in Patna on Wednesday evening. The shooting took place around 10 PM near the Rajendra Nagar Terminal, in lane number seventeen. Authorities are investigating the matter, with the Patna East SP confirming that the suspects were identified in CCTV footage. Investigations are underway to explore all possible motives, including Rai’s political activities and land dealings. Following the attack, Rai sought refuge in a nearby shop but died from his wounds while being transported to PMCH.
