Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Choudhary, extended his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for naming a tower in the new MP residential complex in Delhi after the Kosi River, symbolizing the PM’s deep connection with Bihar. Choudhary took to X to express his gratitude on behalf of Bihar’s populace. The Prime Minister had recently inaugurated 184 new MP residences, with the four towers receiving the names of prominent rivers: Krishna, Godavari, Kosi, and Hugli. During the inauguration, PM Modi remarked on the parallel between the life-giving nature of these rivers for millions and the positive impact on the lives of the representatives residing in the towers. Choudhary then emphasized the NDA government’s focus, under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on reshaping Bihar, highlighting the transformation of the Kosi River, once synonymous with floods, into a means of water supply and prosperity through strategic government initiatives.
