A lighthearted exchange occurred during a Bihar rally between RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. After being asked about LJP chief Chirag Paswan’s comments, Tejashwi steered clear of political conflict and instead offered a playful piece of advice, suggesting Chirag Paswan should get married. His comment was well-received by the audience. Rahul Gandhi humorously responded that the advice was also applicable to him. Tejashwi then remarked that his father, Lalu Yadav, had been making the same suggestion to Gandhi. Gandhi also discussed the upcoming elections, emphasizing the unity of the INDIA bloc members in Bihar and their plans to release a joint manifesto. The leaders had earlier ridden a motorcycle as part of the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Purnia, a 1,300-km march which began on August 17 from Sasaram and will conclude in Patna on September 1, with the goal of covering more than 20 districts.
