Students Hospitalized After Teacher Assaults Them for Being Late to School Prayer

Five students were injured at Madda Middle School in the Sanhaula block of Bhagalpur district, Bihar, after being attacked by their teacher. The incident occurred when the students were late for the morning prayer. Teacher Sanjay Sah reportedly grabbed their hair, threw them to the ground, and beat them mercilessly. The students reported being punched in the neck, causing them to fall unconscious. The injured students, identified as Zeenat Parveen, Shabana Khatoon, Alifa Parveen, Rukaiya Khatoon, and Archana Kumari, were quickly taken to a nearby community health center for treatment.
