A prominent criminal, Suresh Yadav from Gopalganj, Bihar, was killed in Howrah, West Bengal. Late at night, unknown assailants riding a motorcycle fatally shot Yadav in the Sandhya Bazar area. The local authorities were notified immediately. Upon arrival, the police secured the crime scene, collected the body, and initiated a post-mortem investigation. The victim was known to be involved in more than 20 criminal cases, including murder.
Suresh Yadav, a resident of Kukurbhukka village, Gopalganj, was associated with multiple serious crimes. These included the triple murder of Samata Party leader Girish Singh, the murder of Tirvirwa Panchayat head Amarjit Yadav, the murder of Munna Singh, a Congress candidate in the 1995 assembly elections, and the murder of Siwan-based criminal Raka Tiwari. Yadav had been evading the authorities for a significant period and was actively sought by the police. He had survived two previous attempts on his life.
