Summer special trains, implemented to accommodate increased passenger numbers, are facing issues, including theft. A recent case involves the theft of faucets from the toilets on the 07315 Hubballi to Muzaffarpur summer special train. The train, which was already running eight hours behind schedule, arrived at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station where the theft was discovered. All faucets from the toilets in the S-2 sleeper coach were stolen. The resulting water leakage prompted a passenger to report the issue, including a video of the flooded toilets, via social media platform X and Rail Madad. The incident has been reported to the Railway Protection Force and an investigation has been launched. This is not an isolated incident, as thefts of faucets, mirrors, and soap cases have occurred on trains before.
