In a close call, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav escaped injury when a truck struck vehicles in his convoy in Vaishali district, Bihar, early Saturday. The accident took place near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway while Yadav was returning to Patna after a political event. The convoy had stopped for a brief tea break at approximately 12:30 AM when the truck hit several vehicles. Three security officials sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. The local police arrested the truck driver, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the collision. The incident has prompted renewed calls for improved road safety and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations for VIP movement. Yadav, who was unhurt in the incident, has since addressed his supporters, assuring them of his well-being and continued commitment to his political activities.
