The Bihar assembly elections are stirring up political debate, especially regarding voter verification issues. Initially, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav was questioned about possessing two EPIC numbers, and now, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha is implicated in a similar situation. RJD has released details of Sinha’s two EPIC cards, one from Lakhisarai and another from Bankipur, Patna. The Lakhisarai card has the number IAF 39393370, while the Bankipur card has the number AFS0853341. Tejashwi Yadav strongly criticized Vijay Sinha, claiming age discrepancies between the two voter IDs, and questioned the integrity of the Election Commission process. Yadav stated that there are only two possibilities: either the election commission’s process is fraudulent, or the Deputy CM is committing fraud. The controversy highlights how fraud is allegedly taking place. The Congress party also weighed in, alleging that Sinha filled out SIR forms in both constituencies, with his name appearing in both draft voter lists. The Congress raised several questions regarding these irregularities, including the possibility of double voting and the actions of the Election Commission.
